Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Zamledger platform. By accessing or using our service you agree to be bound by these terms.
"Zamledger" refers to the cloud accounting software product. "We", "us", or "our" refers to Awesome Technology Limited, a company registered in Zambia and the owner of the Zamledger software.
"Service" refers to the Zamledger cloud accounting and bookkeeping platform accessible at zamledger.com and related subdomains.
"User", "you", or "your" refers to any individual or organisation that accesses or uses the Service.
"Firm" refers to an accounting or bookkeeping practice that manages client books through the Service.
"Client" refers to a business or individual whose books are managed through the Service by a Firm or in-house accountant.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
Zamledger provides cloud-based accounting and bookkeeping software including invoicing, payments, journal entries, bank reconciliation, payroll, and financial reporting tools.
The Service is designed for accounting firms managing multiple clients and for businesses managing their own books. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan and user role.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately at support@zamledger.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.
Access to certain features of the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or as expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Failure to pay subscription fees may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the Service. We process your data solely to provide the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that any personal data of your clients that you input into the Service is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Zambia Data Protection Act.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including ERPNext and mobile money providers (MTN MoMo and Airtel Money). Your use of those integrations is also subject to the terms and conditions of the respective third-party providers.
We are not responsible for any interruption, error, or loss arising from your use of third-party services.
The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by Awesome Technology Limited and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trade names, trademarks, logos, or domain names.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Awesome Technology Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, tax, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified professional for such advice.
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at support@zamledger.com. Upon cancellation you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to us or other users.
Upon termination you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After that period we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.
